In short: if Mila ever earns a commission from a link you follow, that commission plays no part in what Mila recommends.

Where things stand today

Mila does not currently display purchasable products, and does not currently participate in any affiliate programme. There are no live retail partnerships and no commission arrangements in place.

Mila may participate in affiliate programmes in the future. This page describes how that would work, and is published in advance so the policy is on the record before any commercial relationship exists rather than after.

How commissions would work

Mila is being developed to suggest clothing from retailers to complete an outfit. Some of those links may be affiliate links. If you follow one and make a qualifying purchase, the retailer or its affiliate network may pay Mila a commission.

You would never pay more because of it. The price you see is the retailer's price. A commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not out of your pocket.

What a commission does not do

A commission does not decide what Mila recommends, and it never will.

Mila chooses clothing to suit the occasion you described, the colours in the look she has built, the fit you prefer, the sizes you have told her about, and any budget you set. Commission rate is not one of those inputs. Mila does not rank an item higher, or show it at all, because it pays more.

What Mila will tell you about a product

Where a product is shown, Mila will state which retailer it comes from, what it costs and in which currency, and when that price was last checked. Availability will only ever be shown when the retailer supplies it — Mila does not guess whether something is in stock, and an item with no stock information will simply not claim to have any.

Mila does not sell anything. Any purchase is a transaction between you and that retailer, on their site, under their terms. Mila does not process payments and does not handle returns or refunds.
