MILA

FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

What is Mila?

An AI personal stylist in an app. Photograph the clothes you own, tell Mila where you’re going, and she builds a complete outfit from your own wardrobe. There’s also a feed, stories and reels around it.

How does Mila work?

She reads the pieces in your closet — colour, material, cut, how formal each one is — then puts a look together for the occasion you gave her. Every look explains itself: which colours it uses, why they hold together, and how the silhouette is balanced.

Can Mila style clothes I already own?

That’s the whole idea. Mila builds looks from the garments you photographed, not from a catalogue. She doesn’t currently suggest anything to buy.

Do I need to upload my whole closet?

No. Five or six pieces is enough for Mila to start styling you properly, and you can add more whenever you like. The more she can see, the better she gets.

Can I edit or delete items in my closet?

Yes. Open any piece from My Closet to correct what Mila read about it, or remove it from your closet. Saved Looks that used it keep the look and the item’s name; they simply stop pointing at a garment that is no longer there.

What happens to the photos I upload?

A closet photograph goes into your wardrobe, where Mila uses it to build your outfits. It is not posted to your feed unless you post it yourself. How photographs are stored, used and removed will be set out in our Privacy Policy, which is still in draft.

Can I save my outfits?

Yes. Saved Looks keeps the whole outfit — every piece, the reasoning, and which items came from your closet — so you can wear it again without rebuilding it from memory.

Can I share my looks?

Yes. Post a look to your feed, share a fit to your story, where it stays up for 24 hours, or post a reel. You can also ask Mila to style you like an outfit you saw from someone else.

Does Mila have a free version?

Yes. Your account, My Closet, Saved Looks and everything social — feed, stories, reels, discover, following and messaging — are free, and stay free. At public launch, AI styling requires Mila Premium. While Mila is in beta, AI styling is included at no cost.

How much is Mila Premium?

$9.99 per month. It covers the AI styling: outfits built from your closet, occasion and event styling, voice styling, recreating a look from a reference photograph, and styling two people at once. There’s no annual plan. It isn’t on sale yet — there’s no checkout in the app today, and nothing on this website takes a payment, because Mila AI is included during beta testing.

Will Mila be available on iPhone and Android?

That’s the plan. Today Mila is in a private, invite-only beta on Android and is not on Google Play. An iPhone build is being prepared and hasn’t been submitted to the App Store.

How do I join the beta?

Email support@ai-mila.com and tell us which Android device you’d test on. We reply with the build and a note on what’s worth trying first; you then create your account inside the app. There’s no waiting-list form and no account to create on this website. Mila AI is included during beta testing, so there is nothing to pay while you are testing.

Is Mila always right?

No, and she says so. Fit, sizing and colour are judgements rather than measurements. If a look doesn’t suit you, tell her — adjusting is part of how she works.
